Event Description:

The 2025 Canada Youth Short Track Championships presented by Intact Insurance will feature skaters aged 11 to 13 and serves as an opportunity for developing skaters to represent their province or territory on the national stage.
Skaters compete for individual distance (400M, 800M, 1500M) in their respective age/gender category & also taking part in relays (Mixed gender & Male/Female) and an ability-based 1000M combining all age groups.

This event provides meaningful and developmentally appropriate racing opportunities, while also focusing on the holistic development of the athletes, touching on the physical, cognitive, mental and social aspects of skating.

We will welcome competitors, coaches & families from Nunavut, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, & Ontario
