ATLANTIC CUP SPEED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS- November 11th & 12th, 2023

Speed Skating PEI invites you to the 2023 Atlantic Cup Speed Skating Championships at the Eliyahu Wellness Centre in North Rustico, Prince Edward Island, on November 11th & 12th.  We’re very excited to be hosting our 31st Atlantic Cup, this time in a brand new venue that was home to the 2023 Canada Winter Games.

The Atlantic Cup is an ability based meet, with skating on the 85, 100 and 111 metre tracks.  We will include a Special Olympics division, and possibly a Masters’ division if registration numbers permit.  It will be an exciting event for all skaters and their families, with competitors from far and wide!  We want you to be part of it.

The host hotel is the new Hampton Inn & Suites in Charlottetown, who are offering a rate of $159 per night with hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking included.  Be sure to mention that you are with the Speed Skating PEI for this rate.  We’ve partnered with the Hampton for the last few years and have heard great reviews ever since.

Discounted hotel rate deadline: this Friday, October 27th at 3 PM.

Registration deadline: Wednesday, November 1st at 8 PM.

2023 CITADEL CUP on 28-29 October 2023 – Registration Open


HALIFAX REGIONAL SPEED SKATING CLUB
 is excited to host the 2023 CITADEL CUP on 28-29 October 2023.   

We look forward to welcoming skaters and families to our Olympic sized ice surface at St. Margaret’s Centre in Upper Tantallon for a weekend of great racing and time with friends.

The Citadel Cup is following the Abilities meet format offering the 85m, 100m, and 111m tracks including a Special Olympics division if numbers permit.

37th Annual Harold Joyce Short Track Speed Skating Championship

November 25 – 26, 2023

Grant Harvey Centre, Fredericton, NB

The Fredericton Amateur Speed Skating Club welcomes all skaters to the annual Harold Joyce Short Track Speed Skating Championships.  The meet is open to all skaters and will feature ability class races, skating on the 85m, 100m and 111m tracks. The racing will take place on the Olympic sized ice surface at the Grant Harvey Centre located at 600 Knowledge Park Drive in Fredericton.
