The Codiac Cyclones Speed Skating Club is excited to host the 2024 Atlantic Short Track Championship on February 3rd and 4th. We look forward to welcoming skaters and families to the Arthur J. LeBlanc arena in Dieppe, NB.
HOTEL
The Codiac Cyclones have partnered with the Best Western Plus (300 Lewisville Road, Moncton, E1A 5Y4) to offer a group rate of $159 per night plus taxes for a standard room with two queen beds. All you must do is to mention that you are taking part in the Atlantic Short Track Championship when you call them at: (506) 388-0888. Rooms will be held until January 3rd, 2024 only.
MEET FORMAT
The Codiac Cyclones – Atlantic Short Track Championship will be following the abilities meet format offering the 85m, 100m and 111m tracks, including a Special Olympics division as numbers permit.
The Atlantic Short Track Championship is an SSC sanctioned event that will be conducted according to the rules and regulations as defined by SSC with respect to the skating track, officiating, safety features, and other aspects involved in the event.
We are excited to offer races suitable for all skaters throughout the weekend and look forward to welcoming participants and families from across the region.
Skaters will be seeded based on their most recent times from the current season. If this is the first competition of the season, or a new entry, coach’s time from practice may be considered.
