Speed Skate New Brunswick is pleased to once again offer a summer training camp. The camp is open to all athletes aged 9+ (as of July 1, 2019).

When: August 19th – 23rd

Where: Q-Plex (20 Randy Jones Way, Quispamsis, NB)

This camp is designed to fit the developmental appropriateness of each athlete that attends. To do this, groups within the camp will be split to focus on what is most important for each athlete’s developmental age. Younger athletes will spend less time on ice, but more time developing fundamental movements and having fun. Older athletes will focus more on refining movements and the training required to become an elite athlete.

Depending on registration numbers, camp groups will be:

  • Group 1/2 – 2 sessions on ice each day. Camp runs 9am-6pm, $395
  • Group 3 – 2 shorter sessions on ice each day. Camp runs 9am – 4:30pm, $345
  • Group 4 – 1 ice session each day. Camp runs 9am – 4:30pm, $295

Registration is open until July 21st. You are asked to make a $200 instalment towards the camp cost once registering and after the camp groups are posted (July 22nd) you will be asked to complete the remaining camp fee by August 4th.

The registration link is HERE!!

Groups will be assigned after registration closes, and will be designed to combine those closest in developmental age.
